We had hoped to bring our community together for a free, family-friendly day at the park, but unfortunately, we did not receive enough volunteer commitments to make the event possible.

We truly appreciate everyone who reached out, shared our posts, offered ideas, or expressed interest in attending. We were excited about the possibility of creating a new community tradition, and we are genuinely disheartened that it won’t be able to happen this year.

Putting on an event like this takes more than just funding and planning — it takes enough community members willing to give their time to help with setup, activities, food, cleanup, and all the little things that make a day like this possible.

We haven’t given up on the idea. We hope that, perhaps next year or during another season, we can revisit Celebration Day with enough volunteers and community involvement to make it a reality.
