The Avella Area Public Library serves Independence Township, Cross Creek Township, and Hopewell Township.
Libraries are essential in giving all citizens access to knowledge. Today they are needed more than ever.
At the Avella Public Library you can borrow a print or electronic book or movie, use free internet, read magazines, or get answers to research questions. Kids can explore, play and learn in the large section stocked just for them with toys, games, puzzles, lego sets, STEM toys, puppets and more. We hosts free events throughout the year, like seasonal community craft events and the Kids Summer Reading Program.
The library offers internet access, meeting space, fax, copying assistance and free WiFi.
Your contributions to the library are greatly appreciated and have made possible improvements in the library and allowed our popular public programs to continue.
